InfoQuest does not use payment information for any purpose other than billing, payment processing, fraud prevention, and account administration.

Support and Communications

InfoQuest customers are responsible for the privacy practices, content, data collection, and legal compliance of their own websites, applications, email, and services. If you submit personal information to a website hosted by InfoQuest but operated by one of our customers, you should review that customer’s privacy policy.
4. How We Use Information
InfoQuest may use collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, maintain, and support the Services
- To create, verify, authenticate, and manage customer accounts
- To process orders, payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds
- To provide technical support and customer service
- To send invoices, service notices, security notices, renewal notices, and account notifications
- To troubleshoot service issues and investigate abuse or security incidents
- To protect InfoQuest, our customers, our network, our systems, and third parties
- To detect fraud, spam, phishing, malware, unauthorized access, and other abuse
- To improve our website, services, systems, support, and customer experience
- To comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, registry, registrar, and provider obligations
- To enforce our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and other agreements

5. Service Notices and Marketing Communications
Customers may receive invoices, renewal notices, system notices, security notices, support responses, service announcements, and other important account-related communications. These communications are necessary for providing the Services and cannot generally be opted out of while you maintain active Services.
You may opt out of promotional emails or newsletters by using the unsubscribe link included in those messages or by contacting InfoQuest. Opting out of promotional messages does not stop service, billing, security, legal, or account-related notices.
6. How We Share Information
InfoQuest does not sell customer personal information in the ordinary course of business. We may share information as described below.
Service Providers
We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business and provide the Services. These may include payment processors, billing systems, support systems, domain registrars, SSL providers, software vendors, data centers, network providers, spam filtering providers, analytics providers, email delivery providers, and other vendors.
Service providers are authorized to use information only as needed to perform services for InfoQuest or as otherwise required by law or their own applicable terms.
Domain Registration
If you register a domain name through InfoQuest, domain registration information may be shared with domain registrars, registries, ICANN, escrow providers, WHOIS/RDDS services, and other parties as required by domain registration rules, registry policies, registrar agreements, or law.
Domain registration information may be publicly available or disclosed through WHOIS/RDDS or similar systems depending on the domain extension, registrar, registry rules, privacy settings, and applicable law.
Partners and Third-Party Services
Some Services may involve third-party products or integrations. We may share information as necessary to provide, activate, support, bill, renew, or manage those third-party services.
Legal, Security, and Abuse Matters
We may disclose information when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to comply with law, legal process, subpoenas, court orders, government requests, law enforcement requests, regulatory obligations, registry or registrar requirements, provider policies, or contractual obligations.

InfoQuest uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information under our control against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
Security measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption where appropriate, firewalls, monitoring, logging, physical security, and internal procedures.
No system, network, website, transmission, or storage method is completely secure. InfoQuest cannot guarantee absolute security of information.
8. Customer Security Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for securing their own accounts, passwords, devices, websites, applications, email users, scripts, databases, control panels, and customer-managed software.
Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate authorized contacts, removing access for former employees or contractors, using strong passwords, enabling multi-factor authentication where available, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access or compromise.
9. Data Retention
InfoQuest retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business records, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect our rights.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the Services used, legal requirements, billing requirements, registry or registrar obligations, security needs, and operational requirements.
Backups, logs, archives, and system records may persist for a limited period after information is changed or deleted.
10. Your Choices and Access to Information
You may access, update, or correct certain account information through the InfoQuest customer portal or by contacting InfoQuest.

InfoQuest may require authentication before providing account information, making changes, deleting information, or responding to privacy-related requests.
11. Google Analytics and Analytics Tools
InfoQuest may use Google Analytics or similar analytics tools to understand website usage and improve our website and services.

12. Public Areas and Testimonials
Information you post in public areas, forums, comments, testimonials, reviews, or other public locations may become publicly available. You should use caution before disclosing personal information in public areas.
To request removal of personal information from public areas controlled by InfoQuest, contact us at privacy@infoquest.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove information, such as where retention is required by law, technical limitations, backups, or legitimate business needs.
13. Children’s Privacy
InfoQuest websites and Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
14. Reseller Relationships
Some customers may purchase Services through an InfoQuest reseller. In those cases, the reseller may control certain account, billing, support, and customer information.
If you are a customer of a reseller and wish to access, correct, update, or delete information, you should first contact the reseller from whom you purchased services.
InfoQuest may process information on behalf of resellers as needed to provide the Services. We retain and use reseller-related information as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements.
15. International Users
InfoQuest is based in the United States. If you access or use the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed, stored, and transferred in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
Privacy laws in those jurisdictions may differ from the laws in your location.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
InfoQuest may revise this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on the InfoQuest website or otherwise made available through InfoQuest’s normal communication methods.
If we make material changes to how we use previously collected personal information, we will provide notice where required by law.
Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
